Longwood Gardens Proposal | Patrick & Elena’s Romantic Garden Engagement
Patrick and Elena are getting MARRIED!!! Woohooooo and their proposal at Longwood Gardens was every bit as beautiful and joy-filled as you could imagine!
If you’re searching for inspiration for a romantic garden proposal or planning your own Longwood Gardens proposal photography experience, this story is one you’ll absolutely love!
A Romantic Longwood Gardens Proposal
Patrick chose the perfect setting for his proposal: a sunny, picture-perfect day surrounded by the stunning blooms and architecture of Longwood Gardens. Tucked beneath a gorgeous gazebo, he asked Elena the most important question of his life … and she said YES!!
He had been thoughtfully planning this moment for weeks, envisioning every detail. And somehow, it turned out even more special and memorable than he imagined
The Sweetest and Most Relatable Proposal Moment
Now here’s the part that made this proposal completely unforgettable!
As Patrick and Elena walked through the gardens toward the proposal spot, Patrick made a quick switch, moving the ring box from his pants pocket into his jacket to keep it hidden. Smooth move, right?!
Well … when they arrived, he took off his jacket for photos without realizing the ring was still inside.
Right in the middle of his heartfelt speech, he paused, smiled, and ran back to grab the ring before getting down on one knee. It was such a genuine, real moment that made the proposal even more special. Honestly, it’s these little in-between moments that make a story unforgettable!!
Celebrating with Tulip-Filled Engagement Photos
After Elena said yes, we wandered through Longwood Gardens to capture some just-engaged magic!
With Longwood Gardens’ updated photography policy, staff members joined us and guided us to the most beautiful hidden spots. One of the highlights? A charming brick garden filled with vibrant tulips, It was the perfect backdrop to celebrate such a joyful moment!
If you’re dreaming of colorful, romantic engagement photos, spring at Longwood Gardens truly cannot be beat.
A Love So Full of Joy
One of my favorite parts of this session was watching Elena’s excitement shine through every single photo. The giddiness, the laughter, the pure happiness … it was all there!
And the way these two love each other? You could feel it instantly. I think I heard “I love you so much” at least a dozen times in the short time we spent together.
It’s always such an honor to document moments like this. The beginning of a new chapter, the overwhelming joy, and the love that fills every second.
