3 Ways to use Blankets at your Engagement Session
Hello hello, I am a BIG fan of using props for your session!! Specifically: blankets. And depending on the time of year, we can use these blankets for so many different types of photos! Here are 3 ways we can use a blanket to add to your engagement session
ROMANTIC PICNIC IN THE PARK
Okay y’all … how freaking ADORABLE are these two?! Julia & Amaury decided to include a picnic in their engagement session and let me tell you, it was AWESOME. These photos are but a glimpse into the magic we were able to create together!! Along with their picnic blanket, Julia & Amaury brought a super cute picnic basket, some fancy cheese, a French bread roll and some colorful macarons!!! So not only did they get these awesome pictures, but they also got to enjoy some tasty food and they eased their way into the session by focusing on the picnic and not my camera 🙂
SNUGGLE UP!!
Now this pose is obviously the most fun when it’s chilly outside!!! Grab that blanket and snuggle in close with your hunny!! I also love getting tight shots of you two being super close together to add a little extra romance into the pictures.
CHAMPAGNE & ROLL AROUND
Okay so this is kinda similar to the picnic example, but not having food on your blanket gives you the opportunity to have some fun and roll around!! Step 1: Get some establishing shots on the blanket. Step 2: Drink some champagne and lose a little inhibition. Step 3: Forget the camera and roll around with your hunny!!!
