Classic, Summer Wedding at Brookside Country Club

Jeannine and Ray finally tied the knot on a gorgeous & sunshine-filled summer day at Brookside Country Club in Macungie. Their marriage was extra sweet because it not only united the two of them but also their families, as they now share four children together!!
The whole day was filled with joy and celebration without and ounce of stress. Jeannine, Ray and all their loved ones were so excited for this kind couple to be making it official, and it showed throughout the day! There was never a shortage of smiles or laughter and I am so honored to have documented such a jubilant day.
Brookside Country Club
This golf course country club was a great place to host a wedding! There are beautiful landscaped areas for portrait photography of the couple and wedding party. The outdoor ceremony venue overlooked not only the golf course but also the mountains beyond. The cocktail hour space was a hybrid of indoors and outdoors, great for allowing guests to spread out. The reception room had large windows on opposite sides, allowing plenty of daylight to flow in. There was also a super high, barn-style ceiling with gorgeous chandeliers hanging above the dance floor!! My favorite part, however, is the few minutes where the setting sun shines through the west-facing windows and casts a gorgeous golden glow on everyone & everything in the room!
Simple, Neutral Design
Jeannine chose a combination of white flowers and greenery as the main decor for the wedding. The simplicity of the florals and lack of added elements symbolized the simple yet powerful reason for the celebration: Jeannine and Ray’s love for each other. The neutral color palette of the decor allowed for the attention of the day to be placed on the couple & their loved ones instead of any added elements. I also loved the single gold “R” cake topper to symbolize their new shared last name – classic and elegant all at once!
