Outdoor Colorado Wedding with a Mountain Backdrop

Tina and Watson’s outdoor wedding weekend in Colorado was one for the books. From the rehearsal dinner to the last song on the dance floor, every moment was filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

A Wedding Weekend in the Mountains

Tina and Watson have built a life together across multiple states—growing up in Pennsylvania, meeting in college in New York, moving to California, and now calling Colorado home. Their wedding brought together lifelong friends from every chapter of their journey. The weekend started with a rehearsal dinner, where they spent time with loved ones who traveled from across the country to celebrate.

A Unique Wedding Morning Tradition

Since running is a huge part of their lives, they kicked off their wedding day with a 5K run/walk for their guests. Friends and family joined in, and the finish line featured a well-earned coffee cart. It was the perfect way to start the day before getting ready for the ceremony.

A Mountain Backdrop Wedding Ceremony

Tina’s first look moments were filled with emotion—from joyful tears with her bridesmaids to a heartfelt moment with her dad. Her private vow exchange with Watson took place under a willow tree, with a creek flowing beside them and the Colorado red rocks in the background. It was an intimate and unforgettable setting.

The ceremony itself was a true reflection of their love. Their two dogs were part of the processional, and Tina’s childhood best friend officiated. The mountain backdrop made for an incredible setting, capturing the beauty of an outdoor Colorado wedding.

Celebrating in True Colorado Style

After the ceremony, the celebration kicked into high gear. Their first dance to Lavender Girl set the tone for an unforgettable reception. Cocktail hour included a shotski, and speeches brought laughter and happy tears—especially when Watson’s dad shared a custom photo collage for every guest.

As the sun set, we took portraits in the meadow with the mountains behind them. The golden hour light made for breathtaking photos, capturing the essence of a true Colorado wedding. The night ended with an epic dance floor, proving that this celebration was just as vibrant as the couple themselves.

Tina and Watson’s Colorado wedding was a perfect mix of adventure, love, and joy. Their mountain backdrop venue and outdoor ceremony created a stunning setting, and every part of the day reflected their story. Cheers to the newlyweds!
