Late Summer Longwood Gardens Engagement
Ryan and Lauren got engaged at Longwood Gardens this past August! He reached out to me to photograph the moment he surprised his then-girlfriend by asking her to marry him in one of her favorite places. Capturing this moment was an honor, and their engagement story is one to remember.

Planning the LongWood Gardens Proposal
Ryan spent months planning the perfect proposal. He checked the weather weeks in advance, hoping for clear skies. On the morning of the proposal, it rained. But Ryan was ready. He brought clear umbrellas and had a backup location to keep them dry. (I always bring clear umbrellas, too – but Ryan was on top of it!!) The rain didn’t stop the moment from being special!
The Longwood Gardens Proposal
Ryan proposed under cover, making sure everything went smoothly despite the weather. After Lauren said yes (!!!!), we captured the moment with photos around Longwood Gardens. One highlight was timing the shoot with a fountain show in the background, one of Ryan’s requests! It added a beautiful touch to their engagement photos.
Celebrating the Moment
Lauren had always wanted photos in this spot for her business, so it was the perfect setting for their engagement. Right before their couples photos, a surprise downpour hit, but the rain cleared litearlly just in time. The gardens made a stunning backdrop for their engagement celebration.
Excited for the Future
