Tips for Your Engagement Session
Get ready for a wild time and some serious PDA, y’all 😉 Engagement sessions are SO much fun (I literally wrote an entire blog post about why I love them so much — you can check that out here!), but there are a few things to keep in mind before arriving at your session.
-
Choose a location that has meaning to y’all!! If you love the outdoors — find a dope state/national park and make it a half-day hiking trip (I’m always down for that!). If y’all are Philly ppl born & raised — the Art Museum has a few iconic spots PLUS a stunning view of the skyline. If you just moved in together — what’s stopping you from doing an in-home session?!

Props are fun. Wear that hat that’s been collecting dust in your closet. Bring a blanket to sit on/cuddle with. Heck, we could even use your car as a prop!!
-
Don’t match; coordinate!! I don’t necessarily recommend both of y’all wearing red plaid flannels for your fall session … BUT if one wears a red flannel and the other wears neutrals with red accents, then that is a LOOK!!

Ladies, clean up your nails. It may seem obvious, but I know for a fact that I *never* think about my nails. Painted or not, make sure they are well-kept before the session so we can show off that shiny ring of yours!! 😉
Pump yourself up before your engagement session. Being engaged is such a special season of life — you better enjoy the heck out of it and have the time of your life!!
