Keep learning how to live

LOVE this week’s calendar quote. I have an irrational fear of living boring life.

Truth is, it’s pretty easy to avoid; I believe it’s a choice you make every day. I want to keep trying new things, keep seeking out new adventures. There is SO much life out there, you just have to get up and go live it.

But because of that, I have this hunger for always wanting to do more, see more, live more, etc. All great things, but it makes me contemplate the ideas of contentment and complacency.

I want to be content with my life, but I never want to be complacent. I want to love my life the way it is, but I never want to tire of that hunger to do more. I want to be happy in the present moment, but I never want to stop looking forward to the future.

It’s a fine line & a delicate balance. But that’s how I’m trying to live my life.

So anyway, climbing (specifically bouldering) is one of those things I want to keep learning because it adds a healthy dose of joy and danger to my life. It’s one of the ways I’m learning how to live.

What’s one new thing you really want to learn?!!

“Hiring Gabriella as our photographer was the single best decision we made on wedding day. Because we had an intimate elopement at town hall, it was important to us to capture the small details and intimate moments in a way that we could look back on our day and feel like we are reliving it. Well, Gabriella’s work does just that. She exceeded our expectations and we could not be happier with our gallery. She gave updates and clear expectations along the way so that we were never left wondering what next steps were, and was timely with getting sneak peaks and the full gallery back to us.
