Summertime Longwood Gardens Engagement | Rahul and Chandni
This summertime Longwood Gardens engagement session was beautiful and so much fun!! Rahul, Chandni and I walked around the grounds for two hours taking pictures in the summer sun. They were dating long distance at the time and didn’t get to see each other often. That made their engagement session feel extra special!!
Longwood Gardens
I absolutely adore shooting at Longwood Gardens (click here to find out why!). Summertime is my favorite season there! The sun is shining, the flowers are in bloom and there is plenty of time to (comfortably) explore the massive grounds. The crew at Longwood Gardens does an incredible job of creating beautiful, colorful landscaping everywhere you look!
There is only one downside to a summertime session at Longwood Gardens: the temperature. While the conservatory is temperature-controlled, much of the grounds is outside and exposed to the sun. I typically look for shade when doing daytime photos, which helps with the heat! Keep this in mind if you’re planning a summertime engagement session.
Variety in Your Photos
The great thing about this location is the variety you get in your gallery. There are beautiful flowers, yes, but also wide open fields, fountains, cool architecture and a gorgeous conservatory! (I could honestly spend an entire session in the conservatory and still not feel like I covered everything!) I truly can’t recommend this location enough for your engagement session!
