Jesse and Matthew are two of the happiest humans you will ever meet!!! The kind of couple who laughs nonstop and finishes each other’s sentences. I was lucky enough to get connected with them while out in Colorado thanks to Tina and Wat, who hosted an awesome pre-wedding 5k. (See Tina & Wat’s Colorado wedding right here!) We planned their session just in time to celebrate their two year wedding anniversary, which made it even more special!

For their Colorado couples photos, we headed to Chautauqua Park in Boulder. This spot never disappoints. The views of the Flatirons are iconic and instantly recognizable. It is easy to see why so many couples love this location for couples photos in Colorado. Jesse and Matthew brought so much energy to the session and genuinely had fun together the entire time!! It made photographing them feel effortless!

The weather showed up in the best way possible!!! We had a partly cloudy sunset that created soft light and beautiful color in the sky. Clouds at sunset are always a win because they catch the pink tones of the setting sun and create that cotton candy glow everyone loves in Colorado couples photos.

After the session, Jesse and Matthew took me to the coolest burger joint I have ever been to. The decor alone was an experience. There was a mini fridge and Santa’s sleigh hanging from the ceiling, which still makes me laugh thinking about it. It was so fun to keep chatting and hanging out after their couples photos and just enjoy the evening together.

Huge thank you to Jesse and Matthew for rushing to Chautauqua Park after work, changing in a bathroom, and still looking amazing on a random Monday night!!! Their laid-back energy, willingness to roll with the plan, and excitement to celebrate their love made this Colorado couples photo session such a great experience.
