Payton and Josh met near the Yellow Springs Trail entrance for their session. Around this area of Valley Forge, historic architecture and wide open landscapes created a backdrop that felt quintessentially Pennsylvania.

An old farmhouse and barn brought texture and character to their photos, while the fields gave them plenty of room to move, laugh and interact naturally.

The setting ended up being an especially meaningful fit for Payton and Josh. Their October wedding reception would eventually take place at Payton’s parents’ historic farmhouse in Pennsylvania. The rural character of their engagement photos felt like a little preview of what was still to come.
