When trying to describe the vibe of this Rehoboth Beach wedding & this gorgeous bride, “fairy garden beach princess” is what comes to mind. Melinda & Ted blended coastal, nautical vibes with beautiful blush florals and gold accents to marry two different yet gorgeous wedding themes.

Nautical Details

There were lots of beachy details woven into different parts of this Rehoboth Beach wedding. After all, the wedding was on on a private beach!!

Melinda’s bouquet featured a starfish centerpiece. The bridesmaids wore beaded “barefoot sandals” with coastal charms instead of shoes to go with their flowy, blush-colored dresses. And instead of your typical wedding suit, the groom & groomsmen wore loose, white linen outfits.

At the reception, the white and pink marble cake included crushed sea glass (!!!!) as garnish. In addition, the party favors (a tube of bubbles for the grand exit) were displayed in a container filled with sand and seashells.

Enchanting Florals

If you only attended the reception, you’d never know this was a beach wedding!! Two tents flanked a central dance floor, all of which were filled with draped greenery, hanging woven lanterns, twinkle lights and hanging floral centerpieces with pampas grass. Gorgeous pink and white floral, greenery and pampas grass centerpieces graced every table in the reception, and gold accents could be found in the centerpiece stands, table numbers, plates and utensils.

Party Hard, But Make It Disney

Y’all, this group knew how to PARTY!!! The reception was an absolute blast and featured an outfit change by the bride before the group headed out to the after party!! Even though this crowd threw down, Melinda & Ted were able to include plenty of Disney songs and moments throughout the big day.

Melinda walked down the aisle to a Disney song. The couple’s first dance also featured a Disney song, which ended with Ted spinning Melinda around like a legit princess! Finally, while the bubble exit wasn’t exactly a direct Disney reference, the moment felt like it was a textbook happy ending to a Disney movie!!
